Replacement Filter Tips

When purchasing Hayward replacement pool filters there are a couple of things to keep in mind to ensure you get the proper filter for your pool system. The first and most simple thing you can do is look on your existing filter for any part numbers you can find (they are usually on the ends of the filter). Most Hayward OEM filters will start with a part number of CX followed by a series of numbers. If you don’t see a CX number don’t be alarmed as its most likely you already have a replacement filter in place. These filters usually meet or exceed the OEM filters that come with your system and usually cost around 30% less.

The next method to ensure you purchase the correct pool filter is to measure the existing filter in your system. You can do this by measuring end-to-end of the filter, then the diameter across one of the ends, and finally the opening(s) of the filter. Once you have these measurements check the product details page of the filter you are looking to purchase to ensure these match your existing filter. If they match up – you’re in luck!
