The Pentair 160314 Clean and Clear 50 Cartridge Filters feature a chemical resistant tank with no-tool servicing and a core-less cartridge for easier cleaning. All models are equipped with easy spin-on unions for plumbing hook-ups and are NSF listed for commercial applications. Clean & Clear filters combine top-end filter performance with low maintenance. Their dependable design utilizes special filter elements to strip tiny particles as small as 30 microns from your pool water. Cleaning is super simple as well, just open the top, remove the cartridge, hose it off and your filter is ready to go. The fiberglass reinforced tank halves are secured with an innovative clamp ring – just loosen the ring and remove the top half for easy cartridge access and rinsing. Pentair has also maximized the cartridge surface consistency to block and trap the maximum amount of solids and the Clean & Clear uses the most durable materials to extend cartridge life.
