The Pentair Challenger 3 HP Energy Efficient Full Rated pool pump is designed for applications that require higher pressure operation to power multiple needs such as in-floor cleaning systems, spa jets and waterfalls. The Challenger is made with Pentair's proprietary hydraulic design which increases energy efficiency and reduces friction and turbulence which allows for a greater rate of flow while and less noise than comparable pool pumps. The strong fiberglass reinforced housing, closed impellers and custom molded thermoplastic components stand up to high pressure and provide years of maintenance free, dependable operation.
