The after market replacement trap cover (lid) o-ring O-218 replaces the Sta-Rite U9-229 for the Max-E-Glas, Dura-Glas pool pumps with a 5" trap. This is not a factory original Sta-Rite part, it is an after market part designed to provide you with a cost saving alternative.
Description
If the O-ring is swollen or cracked it can cause your pump to suck air and spit air back into the pool through inlets and it must be replaced. Not replacing O-rings can damage your pool equipment, have a negative effect on filtration and decrease the efficiency of pool chemicals.
