This cleaner works ok I suppose. The parts are very fragile and they look like they snap off when you are cleaning it. You must clean and wash two filters and the housing each time. It picks up large items like mulch or small twigs. Snad is not picked up so easily. The trouble I have is when I try to open the lid, it won't open until I work and worry with it. The button does not press down or in. Others have tried and have the same trouble as I do. You must pull it to the edge with it's cord when removing it and then lift out by the handle. Welllll, that hard to open lid, opens in the water and dumps half the debris out. Since it says no swimming with it in use, I am afraid to get into the water to lift it out without using the handle. Some bugs need to be worked out. I am waiting for it to break any minute due to cheap plastic parts inside. I think for the price, I would have chosen a different type. (Posted on 7/10/11)
