The Astral 06804 42 Inch Commercial Sand Filter is part of Astral's Short Commercial Vertical Sand Filter Series. These filters are available with 42 inch or 47 inch filter tanks depending on your application needs. The interior surface of the filter tank is made with an Isothalic and NPG gel-coat providing superior protection again media abrasion and harsh chemicals. A hand laminated layer consisting of polyester resin and chopped and woven fiberglass matting adds additional strength to the tank. The filters are filament wound using continuous strand fiberglass and resins.
